This industry panel lays out the criteria for Environmental Declarations of road equipment products, such as vehicle restraint systems and vertical traffic signs and signals.
AENOR is the GlobalEPD Programme Manager for the verification of Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) in accordance with the Standards ISO 14025 and EN 15804.
When no Product Category Rules (PCR) apply to a family of products, AENOR creates representative sectoral panels of industry (sectoral associations, manufacturing companies or product clients, etc.), laboratories, Public Authorities, and other interested parties.
The road equipment products panel covers vehicle restraint systems, road signs, pavement markings, acoustic screens, columns for lights and beacons.
The panel for carrying out a road team is developing the following Product Category Rules (PCR):
These PCRs are compliant with European Standard EN 15804, and are currently in the development phase.
