At AENORlaboratorio, we are aware of the importance of the safety of cosmetic products and we thus offer the conduction of microbiological tests, as well as physicochemical and organoleptic tests, of cosmetic, chemical and pharmaceutical and perfume products and their raw materials.
The purpose of the challenge test is to verify that the formulation of the cosmetic products inhibits the development of pathogenic microorganisms.
Challenge tests are conducted on cosmetic products according to the ISO 11930:2012 Standard, and they consist in inoculating the product with a known concentration of microorganisms in order to subsequently evaluate if they proliferate or not.
Analysis of indicator microorganisms and pathogens
Aerobes, moulds and yeast, Candida albicans, Pseudomonas, Escherichia coli, Staphylococ aureus, Burkholderia ceparia, etc.
Physicochemical testing, as well as its evolution in time, is an essential tool to learn about the product and guarantee its safety.
Stability tests combine the conduction of microbiological, physicochemical and sensory analyses with the aim of learning about the product's evolution in different conditions in order to establish their shelf life.
Analysing the sensations produced by cosmetics, comparing them with other market products, knowing the consumer's usage preferences, etc., provide our customers an added value while making the sensory analysis a useful tool in the design and marketing stage.
A controlled work environment free of microorganisms is largely responsible of the safety of cosmetic products.
We are committed to providing our customers with a response of the highest technical and service level.
