ECO Platform is a European Association made up ofEPD Verification Programme Administrators, industry associations and life cycle analysis experts. It aims to guarantee the quality and compliance of environmental declarations for construction products with respect to the Standard EN 15804.
, and increased its audits in 2014 for issuing environmental declarations with the logo ECO Platform EPD EN 15804 VERIFIED.™It is one of the first four European Administrators, together with International EPD System (Sweden), IBU (Germany) and BAU EPD (Austria). Therefore, the GlobalEPD Declarations verified by AENOR under the Standard EN 15804 can apply to be listed in the ECO Platform and to use the logo, which must be used together with the GloablEPD trademark, in accordance with the criteria established by the ECO Platform and AENOR.

The option to use the ECO Platform EPD EN 15804 VERIFIED trademark™is complemented by the marks of other Programmes, with which AENOR has entered into mutual recognition bilateral agreements.
The ECO Platform is a common pan-European framework for EPD developed in accordance with Standards ISO 14025 and EN 15804. The Programmes are aligned with certain common quality and verification criteria, which are regularly audited. The first four programmes were accredited on the ECO Platform in 2014, including AENOR's GlobalEPD.
