AENOR has developed an extensive catalogue of certifications that verify compliance with safety standards and the excellent quality levels of different agents in the food chain. Always integrating the need to achieve sustainability in the agri-food system.

Each AENOR certification builds the trust that customers and end consumers need when deciding to invest in certified products and/or services. 

  • Food quality and safety. Certification of all the agents in the food chain, from production, storage, processing and distribution to the point of sale (HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC22000, IFS, BRC, etc.).
  • Animal welfare. Livestock concerns and slaughterhouses that prioritize animal welfare can rely on AENOR to certify them under the Welfair® (IRTA), "INTERPORC Animal Welfare Spain" Biosafety schemes for white pig breeds, or under "INTEROVIC Spain (AWIS)" for sheep and goat meat.
  • Fishing and aquaculture. Our certification APR verifies that during fishing operations sustainable working criteria are applied at every level, and if they are applied throughout the chain of custody, the product seal can also be obtained.
    And in Aquaculture, AENOR certifies Antibiotic-Free Meat Production in aquaculture (turbot), among other schemes.
  • Product Certifications. Antibiotic-free Meat Production, Iberian pork, A2 beta-casein milk, Production of sustainable crop and Espiga Barrada ELS are some of the certifications that allow consumers to have products bearing our AENOR seal.
  • Export of products to the European market and the foreign market, with the guarantee of a prestigious certification entity such as AENOR (SAE and FSMA requirements to export to the USA).
  • AENOR Laboratory. By relying on its experience, rigour and trustworthiness, it has been providing physical, chemical, microbiological and sensory food analysis services for the main companies in the food sector for 15 years, for everything from production controls (farming and livestock) to packaging.
