Consumer Choice Outstanding Product Certification: guaranteed organoleptic quality

The "Consumer Choice Outstanding Product" certification endorses excellent food products that consumers appreciate, guaranteeing the organoleptic quality of products that are subjected to a programme of individualised tastings.

The Consumer Choice Outstanding Product certification is based on the sensory evaluation designed and developed by AENOR Laboratorio.

Product tastings are held in the AENOR laboratory tasting room, where specialised technical personnel select the target consumers, prepare the samples and conduct the tests. Consumers evaluate various aspects of the products, such as taste, smell, texture, appearance and overall rating. With all the data obtained, a statistical study is performed and the final values are obtained, which will determine the product's certification.

In this way, a contrasted result is achieved that singles out the product, within the same range, and differentiates it from the rest.

Both manufacturers and distributors may apply for certification for products they manufacture and/or distribute.

Outstanding product certification and its advantages

  • Proven and guaranteed organoleptic quality, generating greater consumer confidence and loyalty.
  • Greater competitiveness of the outstanding products, within the same shelf.
  • Reinforce and convey the company's commitment to offer the highest quality to its customers.
