Grupo Bolschare's Arima platform, the first agricultural calculator in Europe and Latin America certified by AENOR that measures the direct and indirect impact of CO2

23/10/2024

AENOR has recognized Grupo Bolschare's Arima Platform for conforming to Standard ISO 14064, complying with its capacity to determine the direct and indirect impact of CO2 emissions. This Platform is used to measure the environmental commitment of companies, sectors and countries with millimetric precision.

AENOR, which audited Arima's capabilities, concluded that the carbon footprint calculator developed by Grupo Bolschare—which specializes in managing agricultural, energy, and medical assets—is a pioneer in Europe, meeting the ISO 14064 standard, the basis for accounting for greenhouse gas emissions.

Bolschare has received AENOR's validation of its carbon footprint calculator, which reaffirms it as a powerful tool for measuring and reducing the carbon footprint. This validation gives credence to the methodology used in the tool and demonstrates the Group's leadership in the agriculture sector. This achievement also consolidates the Group's commitment to the major challenges of sustainability that society demands.

The calculation tool meets the requirements of the 14064 standard, marking a milestone by having a tool of this kind, the first in the agricultural sector, that includes carbon measurements for Scope 1 and 2 (direct actions) as well as Scope 3 (indirect actions).
